Climate in the Mojave Desert
Rainfall
In one year, the amount of rainfall is less than 33 centimeters. Rainfall mostly occurs between November and April, but the most it rains and thunderstorms is from July to September, during the summer thunderstorm season. During May and June, it doesn't rain at all. In particular parts of the desert, it doesn't rains more heavily, with more than 4 centimeters of rain each year, such as the southwestern edge of the Antelope Valley. There are even places where it doesn't precipitate at all.
Temperature
Summer
Like in most countries, Summer is the hottest season for the Mojave Desert, with the maximum temperature being 49 Celsius and the minimum being 54 Celsius.
Spring
In Spring, the temperatures are also quite warm. The minimum temperature is 32 Celsius, and the maximum temperature is 42 Celsius.
Fall/Autumn
During Fall, the temperatures range from 32 to 40 Celsius.
Winter
The temperatures in Winter drop quite a lot in the Mojave Desert. The warmest temperatures reaching 0 Celsius, while the coldest ones dropping to -17 Celsius.
Humidity
For most of the year, humidity is below 40%, but during some winter nights and after summer rains, the humidity can rise up to 50% and more.
